The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, concentrated in vacuo, and the residue obtained was purified using flash column chromatography (silica gel, EtOAc/Hexanes 5-20%) to provide a mixture of isomeric compounds DD3 and DD4 (5.38 g, 94.3% yield over steps A and B).
