Objective: To establish a method for the determination of esomeprazole sodium for injection by HPLC. Method: The anal. was performed on a Diamonsil C18 column (4.6 mmÃ150 mm, 5 μm) with the mobile phase of 20 mM potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer solution (pH6.86)-methanol (35:65, V/V) at a flow rate of 1 mL·min-1. The wavelength used for detection was 302 nm. Result: The calibration curve of esomeprazole was linear in the range of 50â?00 μg·mL-1 (r=-0.9997). The mean recoveries were 99.2% (RSD=0.6%, n=9). Conclusion: The method was proved to be rapid, simple and accurate and have been successfully applied for determination of esomeprazole sodium for injection.
