Conjugated polymers synthesized by direct C-H activation have considerable solubility in common organic solvents and form amorphous film. The photovoltaic property of conjugated polymers synthesized by direct C-H activation is inferior to the corresponding polymers synthesized by Suzuki polycondensation.
