General procedure: A mixture of aryl halide (1.0 mmol), Het-NH (1.2mmol) or amine (4 mmol), KOH (2 mmol), Cu2O/nano-CuFe2O4 magnetic composite (0.010 g) and anhydrous DMSO (2 mL) was stirred at 100 C. The combined ethyl acetate layer was washed with water, dried over anhydrous MgSO4, The residue was purified by recrystallization or short column chromatography on silica gel to afford the target products in excellent yield.
