Then the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 8-12 h. After completion ofthe reaction (monitored by TLC), the reaction mixture was poured into ice water (50 mL). The solid obtained wasfiltered, washed with water and crude product was purified by column chromatography (silica gel, 60-120 mesh)using hexane/ethylacetate (6:4) as eluent.
