General procedure: A mixture of aniline (19d-e) (13.0 mmol), ethyl chloroformate (2.5 mL, 26.0 mmol) and Et3N (3.6 mL, 26.0 mmol) in anhydrous THF (150 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. The solid was filtered off and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was dissolved in CH2Cl2 (100 mL) and the organic layer was washed with water (3 ¡Á 50mL).
