General procedure: 2-(2-Bromophenyl)benzimidazole (1 mmol), substituted aldehyde (1.2 mmol), NaN3 (1.8 mmol), Cu (10mol%), L-proline (20 mol%), and Cs2CO3 (1 mmol) were added to DMF in a 50 mL round bottom flask, and then the mixture was refluxed at 80 C for 16 h under nitrogen atmosphere.
